Cosmetic Injections to Keep You Looking Youthful

Our facial fillers in Cleveland can do much more than just improve lines and wrinkles. With the advanced products that are now available, the face can actually be sculpted. A jaw can be squared; cheekbones can be made more prominent; lips can be made fuller, and sunken areas of the face can be rejuvenated.

Significant improvement can be delivered with little downtime, and with less  risk than with a surgical procedure. Dermal filler can be extremely helpful in reversing early signs of aging, or as an added part of facial rejuvenation surgery. We want to work with you to find the best one for your specific needs.

Facial Fillers at Frankel Facial Plastic Surgery

We are pleased to offer a wide range of hyaluronic acid (HA), calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA), and poly-l-lactic acid (PLLA) facial fillers.

Sculptra

Sculptra® is a PLLA dermal filler that helps replace lost collagen. This helps correct shallow-to-deep facial wrinkles and folds that begin to appear during the aging process. Sculptra works over the course of months, providing long-lasting results.

Juvéderm

A highly popular HA dermal filler, Juvéderm® can be used anywhere on the face where a little more plumping is needed — including smile lines, lips, chin, jowls, and jawline. Juvéderm XC is primarily used to correct moderate-to-severe facial wrinkles and folds.

Restylane

Among the most popular HA facial fillers, Restylane® products are typically used to add volume and fullness to correct moderate-to-severe facial wrinkles and folds, as well as lip lines, in patients over 21. Restylane offers a wide range of products, including Restylane Silk and Restylane Lyft.

Radiesse

Radiesse® is a CaHA dermal filler used for volumizing and smoothing moderate-to-severe facial wrinkles and folds. Radiesse is also used to correct volume loss in the back of the hands, hiding visible tendons and veins and making the hands appear much more youthful.

Belotero

Belotero® is an HA dermal filler used to treat superficial lines and wrinkles that are closer to the surface, which are typically hard to treat. Although Belotero is frequently compared to Juvéderm, it has a lower density. This gives it a slight advantage with finer lines and wrinkles than Juvéderm.

Dermal Fillers FAQs

Can dermal filler be used to fix deep wrinkles on the forehead?

Will getting dermal fillers stretch out my skin or make me look worse if I stop getting them?

Can I get filler if I’m currently pregnant or breastfeeding?

Can dermal filler be used to fix deep wrinkles on the forehead?

While forehead lines are usually treated with wrinkle relaxers like Botox, very deep, static creases that remain visible even when your face is completely relaxed can sometimes be carefully filled. Dr. Frankel typically uses a very soft filler like Belotero to gently smooth out those stubborn surface lines.

How long do the results of a bio-stimulating filler like Sculptra take to appear compared to Juvéderm?

Traditional fillers like Juvéderm give you instant results before you leave the chair. Sculptra plays the long game. It's a collagen builder, so the initial fluid actually absorbs and 'disappears' within a few days. Don't worry, over the next month or two, your body takes over, naturally growing its own collagen for a gradual, subtle lift.

Will getting dermal fillers stretch out my skin or make me look worse if I stop getting them?

Not at all. Fillers just lift and support your skin from underneath. If you decide to stop getting them, the product safely dissolves on its own over a few months, and your face simply goes back to exactly how it looked before.

Can I get filler if I’m currently pregnant or breastfeeding?

No. As a standard safety precaution in the medical community, cosmetic injectables are not recommended or performed on individuals who are pregnant or actively breastfeeding.
